Getting on track with Fitness | My Fitness Mission

As soon as the new year begins, everyone is more than keen to get on a fitness and clean eating band wagon. I will not lie and say I am the best 'clean' eating person as pure laziness and the practicality of a much simpler and easier way is more suitable for me. Either that or I just like excuses. Lately I feel like I have hit a bit of a slump. Too much work, being tired too often and not enough of slowing down and relaxing. I normally can be quite motivated and get inspired really easily. Over on my Instagram I follow fitness inspiration accounts and hope that one day I can have what I aspire to.
2017 so far has been quite a busy year. With many family commitments and health issues arising mixed in with a endless work load I am emotionally exhausted and unable to find the motivation to get my bum into gear and get on with my fitness.

In 2016 I had the same goal, for 3/4 months I kept it up and followed a routine I enjoyed. The motivation was oozing out and I loved working out almost everyday. Then as I said health issues within the family put my workouts and fitness on a back burner. But now I feel mentally ready to take it on and start my fitness journey again. It's not just about appearance but feeling good. Working out for me helps me regain focus, clear my head and always brightens my mood.

There is all this pressure and stigma out there to have the perfect 'bikini' body but in reality you just need to be happy with yourself. As much as I find fitness posts inspiring, I believe the key is to stay clear of all pressure and do what suits you. My fitness mission is to attempt a routine majority of the week but it's ok if I miss a day - I am human..
As well as home routine I would really love to take up running, I've heard great things about it clearing your mind and helping you focus more. Each day after work I have about an hour before I'm busy again and this would be prefect timing to go for a run.

Working out what works best for me (or you) is the first steps to introducing a little bit of fitness as part of my lifestyle.

It's all about finding a balance.

Is fitness apart of your lifestyle? What do you do to stay fit?

My first impression:
In all honesty this was given as a gift but if you are a newbie to a Jo Malone I wanted to give my opinion on the range.
When I first received this I was in quite a bit of shock, due to knowing the expense of the brand. I've known this brand for quite a while now due to it being popular with quite a few bloggers and YouTubers, in particularly Tanya Burr..
The packaging was beautiful, coming in a little branded gift bag, tied with some green velvet ribbon. The smell of the products just oozed out of the bag and I couldn't wait to delve in to see what the goodies where.

Packaging:
Like I said above the packaging was done beautifully. The products was found in a branded box which again was tied with a green velvet ribbon. I guess this is there trademark wrapping. It was laid neatly in the box on some green tissue paper.

Value For Money:
Can't really comment on this due to it being gifted however after doing some research I have discovered that it is slightly out of my budget, well what I would normally spend. However, Jo Malone has a variety of products with a range of prices suiting different budgets but for me although they are 100mls was just a fraction over priced for me.

Product itself:
This luxurious brand really does feel like luxury. These 100mls sizes are the perfect size for travelling. And I plan to try and travel a little this year, they will definitely be in my travel bag. The smell is so mesmerizing it is hard not to be captivated in wanting to purchase more of this product or explore the scents Jo Malone has to offer.

Would I re-purchase?
I would if I wanted to really treat myself but maybe perhaps a candle. The smell is amazing and just to die for. I can really see why this would be popular with many.

I have to clarify that although I felt this is a fraction over priced for me, you need to remember I am a student as well as a part-time worker. When I was working full time this would have been reasonably ok, budget wise. All in all I love the products Jo Malone produce and look forward to purchasing my first ever candle (I love candles).

*This was gifted as a present for Christmas 2016 and not for the purpose of this review. I reviewed this purely to give my own opinion on this product. All opinions are my own and I stand true to that.

Wonderlist | 10 places I'd love to travel to

I've not traveled many places within my twenty something years but as I'm getting older I have suddenly got the urge to see the world and travel to some beautiful destinations. I have the urge to just book as many flights and holidays I can squeeze into what time I do have off work and escape. However being a mum to 2 young children and home to look after I'm afraid that would be out of the question. My holidays will have to consist of planning and saving. Nonetheless doesn't stop me from dreaming. After whittling it down I've managed to think of 10 top places I'd love to visit (hopefully within the next couple of years) :

Dreams & Goals | Don't Give up..

If I was to rewind when I was back in school and someone told me where I'd be today - I wouldn't have believed them. I was a teenage mum and although my mum was, I was determined to not be the same. Statistically I was. I've come along way since giving birth to my daughter all those years ago. I may not own my own house as of yet but I am happily married with another child and working hard to support my family.
